Privacy Policy

This page explains what The Anchored Widow collects when you use anchoredwidow.com or buy from me, what I do with it, and how to get it changed or removed. The Anchored Widow is run by Brooke Baird. Questions go to [email protected].

What I collect

  • What you type into a form. Your name and email when you sign up for something free.
  • What you give at checkout. Your name, email and payment details when you buy. The payment details go to the payment processor. I don’t see or keep your full card number.
  • What you send me. Replies to my emails, and Instagram comments or messages.
  • How the site gets used. Pages visited, the ad or link that brought you here, and basic device and browser details, collected through cookies and similar tools.

What I do with it

  • Send you the thing you asked for.
  • Email you. That includes emails about my products. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Deliver what you bought and handle questions about it.
  • Understand which pages, emails and ads work, and show ads to people likely to care.

I don’t sell your name or email to anyone.

Who helps me run this

These companies handle information for me so the site, emails and checkout work:

  • Kajabi: this website, forms and email.
  • SamCart: checkout, orders and payment processing.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): the Meta Pixel and Conversions API measure ads and help show them to the right people. They can record that you visited a page, signed up or bought.
  • Microsoft Clarity: records how visitors scroll and click on some pages, so I can see where a page gets confusing.
  • ManyChat: sends automatic Instagram messages when you comment or message a keyword.
  • Zapier: passes order details between my tools.
  • Google: hosts my email.

Your choices

  • Stop the emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • See, fix or delete your information: email [email protected]. I may need to keep some order records for taxes and accounting.
  • Limit ad tracking: use your browser’s cookie settings or your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.

Children

This site is for adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes
